12 Slotters on an ED ??

Hey - will 14" x 7" or 8" 12 Slotters fit on an ED ?
Does anyone have pics of what that would look like ??

theres a eb ghia getting round wynnum on some 14x8s, definitly looks bogan, esp with the primer patchs lol. but i liked it, but i like 12 slots too.
definitly not a look for everyone

Get some 17s. 245s will fit on 15x8s, 16x8s, 17x8s... Tyres-wise you're easiest off finding wide rubber for 17s.
On the other hand, 225s look big-ish on 15x7s due to a bit of sidewall bulge. What are your current rims?

Current are the standard Fairmont alloys - 15" x 6" I think -

Well, you can fit 225s on those (they're called Turbo Blades).
If you want 245s though, keep an eye out for SVO rims (16"), 245s will fit on those.
70s rims belong on 70s cars.

I hate 12 slotters or jelly bean wheels on box cars. Definitely 11ty billion bogan spec.
I have some 17" BA XR copies to suit E-Series offset for sale if your interested.

I'm a cheapskate - I got my ED Fairmont for $1500 it needs new tyres. I can't really justify spending half the cost of the car on new wheels alone. So I am looking for cheap arse alterternatives.
225 60/15 might be my only options - unless I go fully bogan... ha ha ha

For cheap rubber, stick with the turboblades & look for some Madison 225/60/15s, mine were cheap (can't remember how much) when new and were GT Radial ripoffs. Good tyres for the price!

Seriously e-series mag's a very cheap. I have a set of 5 EF Ghia wheeld and tyres going very cheap!!!
