Posted: July 10th, 2009, 1:52 pmJust relying on a Raid array is not an effective backup. Offsite and Tape backups and deposited into fire proof safes is an effective backup.
RusselW I fear for your IT clients with that pox IT company you run if this is your only effective way of backup.
But its quite funny they damaged the original raid array in the restoration of service.

And it appears the server is hosted in the USA. clearly the 20k a year in sponsorship the receive is being spent well if a USA Data Centre(webhost) has a major dedicated server crash like that.
