Hey guys im just new here but i have been on fordmods.com for a few years now. Im in te planning stages now with my EF XR6. The old girl is on gas (dual fuel) auto and has already had the head gaskit done. Mecanically she is perfect, so i figured it will be agood platform to start off with a car that i know the history on. The aim is to build a streetable turbo car, that will run day in day out, not so much a dyno comp winner. the aim is for between 250-300rwk. i was entertaining the thought of running it on gas, changing to gas research throttle body and a B2 converter if i needed to, but my question is, can the cooling system handle having a gas converter, a turbo, and the motor all plumbed into the one system? also the balance line the gas uses, where is this relocated to? Now onto the equipment side of things. What sort of turbo should i be running for this power mark? i have no future prospect to go highr than 300rwk. maybe a t40z?
if ive missed anyting please let me know.
cheers
George
