Neat car there Wayne! Should have got a matching grille and the front bar strips, and some caps and a clean! I'd own it.

Yeah cheers mate. that was the plan but could do with some cash and thought it would be a good idea to try and sell while I have the RWC valid.. Ended up selling an hour ago (to an old workmate) and I've pulled it from eBay. Have the bar strips just hadn't gotten around to refitting them..

Nice one. Must come across some decent finds at reasonable prices in the towing trade

Yeah, it's mainly non insured cars that I can get.. Insured stuff has to go through the right channels (claims center/pickles/Mannheim.). most things are fucked but good to wreck (like the xh I got for the 5 speed conversion on my ef). Was $250. Sold motor and kept manual stuff and got $250 for the shell after I'd finished with It lol.

Ea owed me $700 all up including rwc and transfer and sold for $1500 so good profits

I sold an xh turret to a guy off the trailer I made, and he saw the ute when he came to pick it up and said he'd be keen. It was complete less motor and box and a few small bits so a little more than just a bare shell, but it was fucked (head on with a VY). I said 300 just highballing and he said 250 so I was like deal! Came 2 weeks later when I'd taken everything out of it and towed it away. Was stoked haha

They look like AU+ units, as the auction also includes boxes of 5x7 woofers as well. Why anyone would want/need them is beyond me!! 14watts of Eurovox awesomeness!!

I think it was 100k at one point, but could be wrong.

The price is nuts, but where else would you get a basically brand new el gt?
Pretty sure that dude in wa paid around 35-40k for his, and it had like 35000 on the clock. Much better value IMO.

oil still needs to be changed, it doesn't last forever and breaks down over time, same with brake fluid, coolant, fuel and just about everything else on the car that is perishable. Tyres would be the same, they wouldn't be any good by now due to age. Bushes may have deteriorated as well. Only way to find out would be go over the car

I'm surprised by the lack of EL GT's for sale at the moment.
Since the ford announcement, they've all dried up.

Couldn't agree more, knee jerk reaction from sellers.
I'm sceptical they'll ever be worth much, comes down to how usable they are in the future.

Really ? I always thought they would shoot up in Value especially in about 10 to 15 years from now, I Mean I don't think that 30 years ago people thought that some xy gt's would hit the price they did especially like they peaked a few years back, but again there could be a difference but it is still branded a GT so you never know. Who knows with cars.
