A bit weird..EA-ED intake manifold on Xflow head.

I was looking through the wiki page of Ford Australia's six and found this..kinda weird.

Obviously the dude is running EFI but what the hell is up with running the manifold upside down?
Now Lead tester/cheap labour for the South East divison of Hillbilly Performance Vehicles. PM me for a set of 2nd hand leads, dirty air filters and other assorted hick automotive needs.

how the **** is the piping going to fit running it back wards?

that would also create more restrictions with bends and stuff to, looks like the bloke is trying to make his motor like like a RB motor or something lol

My thoughts exactly, maybe he is running a snorkle from a patrol increase he goes through a river. :thumbsup:

nope....if im correct that belongs to a guy with a fair quick drag cortina.. his username around the forums is injected250....uses a scoop at the back end of the bonnet

I would say it wont fit facing down.. Anyway it doesn't make any difference to flow..
Why go half way ?? Lol

Nr 400 rwkw with std head,rotating assembly..
The manifold was cut and reversed and 8" tube welded on plenum..

EF bottom end with ported EB head, valve springs, EL ECU & J3 chip, crane HI6 CDI & MSD coil, LC-1 wideband & SSI-4 logger

soon - .595" lift cam, GT4202, forged AU engine and built head, ems stinger 4424 ecu, powerglide with 5500 high stall etc - next, bellhousing

XH ute daily - DOHC BA XR6 engine, T5, AU3 ECU with TI J3 chip, ported BBM, 3" stainless intake - 12" sub, tub liner and hard lid - mass skids and epic tyre carrying capabilities :)

Michael still has this car.. He's just built a car trailor to tow it around, seems the auto needs some attention??
He may have to drop power ? Or fit a C4 or TH350 / 400 ...
It slips or powers through converter mid track...
Looks nice now with lightweight Weld alloy wheels...
Blown engines go better with big plenums.. Maybe NOT as big as Michael's ?? But it does 11.2's at 127 mph..
But since stepping up the power the auto is letting things down..
N20 is only activated at wot and only at stage line to spool turbo..

It's all very well saying what it looks like!! Wtf if it goes hard !! It's not a show car..

original pic is xe/xf inj manifold cut at plenum joint and what appears to be ea/ed log plenum grafetd on backwards????
