abs sensor

Postby CHEETR » August 29th, 2009, 11:09 pm

hey guys, when i got my roady a couple months ago, one of the things it got knocked back on was the abs light.
i replaced the module in the dash and the actual abs unit itself, still stayed on.
so i fixed everything but the abs light, and ended up wrapping the globe in duck tape to get it throughas we couldnt find the problem.

i was just thinking, the car has been played with left right and centre, so maybe someone has changed the diff and put one in without the sensor?

where abouts is the sensor on the diff?

The rear ABS sensors are on the axle behind the brake disc...

with the car jacked up you should see them going into the backing plate under the housing

held in by one 10mm bolt with a wire coming off them along the lower control and into the rear floor of the cabin
