hate the R8 ute tail. its the equiv. of an NF/NL ass. Horrible. otherwise, not bad at all. Love the senator/grange. They look rediculous.
The white HSV on the left sorta looks like and evo's big brother at first glance.

not a fan of the rear bumper on the R8, but i do like the bomber vents on the bonnet.

also like the new grilles the split in the gts maloo r8 is nice and the bigger grille on the senator is nice.
looks like theyve also tried to redo the audi leds above the fogs... interesting.

Why does the white car remind me of a storm trooper?

They all look really weird and akward... The Senator is the best looker out of the bunch, but it's grill makes me think of a Honda Accord!
I find it amusing that Holden made no change to the exterior of interiors of the new VE, and focused only on fuel economy, yet HSV makes visual changes to every single model. Gotta keep the HSV fanboys happy I suppose.

Not a fan. I reckon the VE1 HSVs look pretty tough, and reckon the old Senator looked great, but the new bodykits look way too busy. They've got various vents, holes, and grilles everywhere. The Senator grille is too big although I like the new look HSV badge in the centre.

I still haven't gotten used to the Maloo back end either. It looks identical to the back end of the US version of the Honda Civic

At a guess that badge is for the "SV enhanced" options available, including various wheel, suspension and exhaust changes.
Certainly the most drastic model since the VY, and not something I could drive with the exception of the Senator and Grange. The way they were hyping it up, I was expecting some more substantial technology like radar cruise control or a reversing camera.
The main highlight to my mind is the side and curtain airbags on Maloo, which to my knowledge is a first for a Holden ute. Launch control, 'competition mode' ESP and braking cruise control is worthwhile, but hardly mind-blowing. Various power and fuel economy improvements are similarly incremental. I thought LPG availability would be the big news. Oh well.
I am by far more excited by the base model Omega which will be a genuine step forward.

Exactly what I thought. EVO + roids, and you've got this.

Don't mind the front's of them all, not a fan of the rear bars tho, looks weird. The LED strip lights on the front's look classy, but would of been better kept to the Senator and Grange, doesn't suit the GTS.

Besides the senator which looks good, the rest look too riced up... they kinda look like an evo or something, kinda trashy and cheap looking..

Frost wrote:So you can order you clubsport with factory LPG? is that what your saying?
No, HSV has been famously testing liquid injection LPG systems and I assumed this model was going to be the system's release. Hopefully the factory LPG model will be available within a few months.
It will be a lot more exciting than these '70s bonnet scoops and yellow brake calipers.
