Why would my oil catch can fill up quickly?

Hey guys, i've had my AU turbo'd for about 6 months now and i've done about 5000km and never had to empty my oil catch can.
In the last 2 weeks i've had to empty it 3 times. It fills up every 100km or so.
Does anyone know the reason for this?

There's a few things i assume it could be:
1.valve stem seals
2.baffle needed in the rocker cover
3.pcv valve needed in the line

It is plumbed from the rear of the rocker cover to the catch can, then, from the catch can to the intake pipe leading into the turbo.

Hoping someone has had the same issue and its an easy fix.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

if its been running fine for so long and now filling with oil, do a compression test.
bad blow by (oil out of the breather) is a good sign of worn piston rings.

the pressure released past the rings is forcing oil out of the top of the engine.
generally there will be a bit of blow by in a turboed engine, but the worse it gets, the more pressure gettings past the rings.

I'll take a guess and say you've got some pretty bad blowby.

Thanks heaps guys,

I'm running 9psi.

I drive it pretty sedately for the most part, give it a bit of a squirt off the lights sometimes but thats about it.

I was dreading it could be blowby.

My oil catch can was filling up quickly a few years ago, and it turned out the PCV valve was stuffed. Mines not connected to the rear breather.

One thing I have noticed lately, is my catch can is filling with clean water, and then a small amount of oil on top? BBQ??!?!?!????!?!??!

yea... like I emptied it the day before PC, and I reckon its 1/3rd full already. mind you, I do have scourers in a stocking, so the vapour has something to cling to in the can... I heard they were commando's old stockings also, I was surprised as they werent fish net ones.

Pics of setup? Is the front breather still connected as per factory? I'd guess the PCV isn't sealing properly under boost and pushing oil out the rear breather.

On Gozzas car it resulted in an exploded engine :(
