Advice on a new speed camera system being tested
· It's a cylindrical pole about 2m high with 3 Perspex stripes on it (hidden cameras, one for each lane of the highway), and there's some matching sensors on the far side of the road in the gutter.

· Please be aware that big brother is watching. When you see the stripes it means that there is a speed camera. The locations for these new cameras are listed below. The one in question is located at the bottom of a very steep hill. Of course it is illegal for a radar or mobile speed camera to be set up in these sort of positions but its ok if its fixed.

here has been one on maroondah hwy in croydon on the way to chirnside. been there least a year.still bit scary howmany new ones

Those are the new super cameras. I had a picture of the sensors on the other side of the road but I can't find it.

lol yep been there a while and still havent gotten a ticket.

Wasnt that one vandalised every 5 minutes and put out of action so they put cameras in to watch the camera.

Its easy to not speed through an intersection, that one near chirnside is in the middle of nowhere. Sneaky sneaky ftl.

I hope they are not going to use the improved accuracy (if any) as an excuse to get rid of the 3 km/h camera error allowance. Otherwise we're all doomed.

i still cant see how if im traveling in the far right lane in peak hour traffic they can get my plates?
4pm-6pm theres a shit load of cars..
