Switching Insurance

In the midst of changing insurance companies.

Is it as easy as ringing up and cancelling or is there a cancellation fee. Has anyone done this?

with cgu it was like that...
i just rang them up and cancelled it.
they asked for a reason so i told them the reason why im cancelling it was due to them refusing to cover the ghia after the manual conversion

i just changed insurance from LSV to Just Cars... was as easy as ringing up and telling them to cancel my policy...

they send you back a cheque of the remaining amount of your premium, minus their admin fees...

Can i ask why you changed from LSV to just cars? i heard lsv is a good insurance company for modifications and good payouts? (or don't they come to the party when shit hits the fan?)

ABS = spongy brakes, but you'll slow to about 60

non-ABS = lock up at 100 & skid past the roo doing about 95. But you'll look sick doing it
