Box car seats VS Bubble car seats

Ok so i've got my EL and my ED, and i've had an EA and an EF as well, now after much talking about it at various times with my mates we have decided that EA-ED seats are much more comfortable than EF-EL. What do you guys think?
andhow hard would it be to put EA-ED seats in my EL.

Calvin (EF_frmnt) did it in his EF IIRC. ED Ghia/XR seats FTMFW

I put ED Ghia seats in my Wife's EL.
chopped the inside/rear leg off, was pretty easy.

i wouldnt mind a set of ed ghia/xr seats

I heard that fitting different seats requires engineering or something, and your insurance will be void etc if you don't have it done.
No idea if its true or not.
Anyone know anything about it?

you technically would need engineer check
but i think if you had a crash insurance company would be hard pressed to proove the seats made you crash

If you are modifying cars, chances are that shit needs engineering anyway...
