Who to choose: SPRINT Gas system (EZYGAS) or BRC (Keith Linn

Hi guys,

I am stuck choosing between these 2 gas systems....

Sprint Gas systems are used by a company called EZYGAS who are a sponsor of the V8 Super car racing.

The other gas system is BRC which is used by Keith Linnell who was the first gas provider in town who knows hes systems inside out....

Honestly speaking i dont know much about these 2 systems so im throwing it out to you guys here to see if anyone has had any experiences with them which could then possibily lead me into making my decision....

Both systems are priced the same and are nearby my home.....

cheers...

wolfblass... let us know how it goes?

Cheapest gas system I could find up here was $3000, so $1250 after the rebate.. not really worth it I don't think.

You should make a thread Glenn. There are sooo many variables that you should definitely make a thread and ask 11ty questions before committing to anything.

dropped off the car this morning and was also told that if the spark plugs needed replaicing i would have to pay for it but i made sure that it was part of the deal as thats what i was orginally quoted by the sales team...

OK, little bit pissed of. got the car back runs pretty good, they didn't charge for the spark plugs and the setup is clean and tidy. now for the bad bits lol

1. VERY unorganized, we had to wait 1 hour to pick up the car because they lost my paper work and keys.
2. Part of the deal was to have a full tank of gas, i didn't get it and i had no fuel in it either
3. The fuel cap wasn't even opening and they got 5 people to fix it.
4. They Gutter rashed my rim in their driveway and split my Tyre. The guy said he will pay for it to get machined, i said no i want a new rim and possible a new Tyre, so i need to run around tomorrow and get a quote for this

really is something i didn't need, but i guess they did a good conversion even though they left no fuel in it.

ouch!! thats the last thing we need for some idiot being negligent towards our rides!!! if the guy said he'll pay for it and if its running ok on gas i guess its not that bad afterall but i can understand that for such a big company you would expect them to be a bit more organised....

i rang last night to see the progress of my car and was told everything is going smoothly and that is should be ready by this afternoon. (fingers crossed)

Did you also happen to get that bottle that sprays (some liquid) into the head of the engine to keep it lubricated? it cost me around 100 extra?

good to hear wolfblass...

i just picked up my car from ezygas in blackburn and honestly guyz coudlnt be happier. the customer sevice was excellent, the guyz were very very helpful and went through everything in a very professional manner.

i ended up getting the sark plugs for free, got a full tank of gas, and only paid 80 for the flash lube which i was quoted 130 when i dropped off the car yesterday.
so all in all i only paid $1,980 and to say im extremely happy would be an understatement...

Speaking of fuel economy, i drove about 45mins and havent even used a bar so things are looking good in that dept aswell. The car drives well with no stuttering and overall is very smooth with not much loss of power.

I will eventually post up a new topic of the conversion with pics but overall im a very happy camper and highly recommend these guys down in blackburn @ ezygas...

over and out.
