Decent price for custom tuning?

Postby DOHC-EB » November 23rd, 2009, 2:28 pm

Hi guys,

Im about to get the EB tuned properly after alot of debate and hassling I have found someone I trust to work on the car. And boy wasnt that a hassle, anyway.

How much would you expect to pay for a full custom tune for my car with its current setup? BA DOHC Engine with stock xr6t turbo and BF PCM. From what ive read it’s roughly somewhere around $600-$800 for a decent tune. Most people around Canberra are trying to charge me $1200!

Am I being too cheap or is this what it costs for this sort of thing?

I doubt it, but has anyone has any luck with tuners in Canberra...

I thought the SCT flash tuner was around $800ish itself, plus the tune?
