Just finished watching today tonight at work, and low and behold wats their topic at the end of the show to get the ratings, HOONS, they basically interviewed a few People in sydney or melbourne, who didn't really care, although one person who did get their car confiscated said, we did it (raced) where there is no traffic, where there is no pedestrians and on a back road which is also a dead end street, we basically removed all the risk.
The media must be running out of things to make stories about.
The cops were also using choppers to track cars that were racing. as far as i know i haven't seen any cop choppers up here, but i could be wrong.

Was talking to my dad earlier today, he was telling me that every 6 months all the assistant commissioners and shit all get together with the chief commissioner and give him/her a list of all the 'crime' data for the past 6 months - arrest rate, traffic offences, domestic violence, number of RBTs given, break and enters, assaults etc etc etc.

Apparently for the next 6 months they give no fark for anything not alcohol or traffic related. Yep, you read that right. Do 5k's over and expect to have your sphincter enlarged, but punch up your mrs Dansedgli style or steal someones TV and it's likely nobody will care.

The only things grabbing the headlines at this point in time are drinking and the road toll, nobody gives a **** about anything else.

It's so unbelievably wrong, fucking shits me up the wall :banghead: the complete fucking idiocy of the people who make the decisions!!!

My dad reckons they had a massive blitz last night and last week for alcohol and traffic offences, and hardly got anyone, because everybody is too well behaved already - zillions of cops on the streets, shitloads of overtime paid....and they're all sitting around with nothing to do.

I went to Redcliffe last night to meet some chikz my housemate knows, saw 3 'civilian' cars on the road and 5 cop cars. All 3 'civvy' cars were in the process of being pulled over for an RBT (as were we). There was nobody around, the place was like a ghost town, and I haven't seen a punch up in the valley since I can remember.

This 'explosion of alcohol fuelled violence' and 'reckless hoon behaviour on our roads' doesn't fucking exist!!!

I think the towie was fair full of shit. There's not enough holding yards in Brisbane to even consider towing that amount of cars.

Was too busy chatting up hot 18yo chicks to remember to give you a ring
