at least i got to do a burnout leaving rubber on something...
didnt get smoke pouring tho...

basically went on a mountain run after changing rear pads, didnt want to brake too hard, coming into a easy corner with too much speed (trying to only engine brake), realised was coming in too hot, braked mildly thinking it would hook in, didnt... hit leaf litter went straight into a tree... probly 50-70ish not sure exactly...

stupidity at its finest...
didnt wanna go calder cos id break my clutch
didnt wanna brake too hard incase it fucked the pads up...
so i just wrote it off instead...

$337 to tow it to my mums...

cancel rego, wreck it out etc i think... tempted to get a RX and reshell...

but might not.. thinkin 120y with a fucked motor so i drive slowly lol

chipped my thumb nail on my gearstick which also jarred my thumb a b it, and i think my knee hit the dash cos its bruised now but didnt notice it last night....

yeh its mechanically A+ lol, just body/chassis damage mainly... the engine bay rail hasnt move lucky and inteior is all mint except dash is cracked, didnt set off airbags tho lucky

Sorry to see mate, but being able to learn from mistakes means more than any car. AWD cars tend to handle on rails up to a point, then let go dangerously at the last minute, so it's easy to be overconfident.

According to Redbook, an AWD '93 Impreza GX manual is a $2600-4300 proposition. Put in the effort and you'd have a heck of a sleeper.

as was the coilovers,front and rear swaybars, swaybar link kits, front and rear strut braces, anti lift kit, new tyres, new pads, new windscreen, new seat belt, new cv, rear camber kit, need i go on? lol.

oh well can only take it as a lesson learnt i guess... lost a fair amount of money, probly less than if i had of sold it in a year or 2 tho haha.. gotta look at the lighter side of it i guess.....

re-shell it, maybe find a stolen/recovered write off or something? or the rx option as already suggested,

id say it would have to engineered, same as a XT with XR6T running gear.
