Just wondering to anyone who is a panel beater or have had to replace one what is it worth? I brought my new EB home and the one part seriously the ONE part i didn't check was the passenger sill and there is a huge chunk of rust in it. What's the best way to go about getting past a roady for it?

cut it out the best you can. weld in a new bit of steel or even stainless. the bog prime and paint. and put rust converter and maybe fish oil in there aswell.

If you do that it will come back in 6 months.

Get a wire brush for a grinder or drill, clean it up as best u can, fill, and I mean fill the sill up with fish oil, put rust converter on it, spray some undercoat coat on it then bog it up.

while you have the hole open try and drill a hole at the bottom to allow water to run out and not get caught up in there, im lucky my fairlane is a 92 build and the only rust in it is where the rear passenger door protector foot thingy has rubbed through the paint but ill sort that when i can be stuffed respraying the car

might want to reverse the words fish oil and rust converter, as i believe the fish oil if put on first would stop the rust converter from working, i know its common sense but you never know how people take these things lol

go to a wrecker, cut a section out from another car and weld it in place. saves it growing back

As mentioned above, buy another non rusty EB. Failing that, personally I'd just brush it back a bit, apply a bit of rust converter and then bog it up.
