gday new around here
got a qwestion im hopeing some of you guys might be abel to shed some light on
I have a 1993 XG ute 5spd man with a 93 ED motor in it .
i have heard putting a EA multipoint cam in these things can give them a lil bit more grunt for next to nothing ( can pick up an ea cam for like 50 bucks)( supposibbly the EA has the lumpyst/biggest cam ford made for the 3.9-4lts motors) but i have also herd there is no gain in putting them in aswell... im hoping some one can shed some light on this

No gain. Better off spending $150ish on a Wade regrind cam

theres a few guys on xfalcon that swear by the ea cam into the 4.0ls, apparently its the cfi one that the best one, which is sorta ironic considering the 3.9 cfi makes less power than your average briggs and stratton lawn mower.

personally, if i was gonna go to the effort of a cam swap, id just not be a cheap **** and buy a decent aftermarket one.
