E-Series Mod V2

Hey Guys,
I'm looking into re-vamping the E-Series Flash game that i created a while ago.
I'm after ideas on how i can expand it to suit a majority of people.

I'll likely expand it to include
EA-BF
LWB Models
Wagons

I've learnt a lot since i created the last version that means i should be able to create it to include many more options.

I'd like input on what YOU want from it?

* Greater choice of rims
* Brake caliper colour change/big brake option
* Sunroof
* 2 or 3 tint levels, plus pimp mirror tint?
* Let's avoid NFS decals/vinyl graphics/neonz
* clear taillights (can't remember if this was on V1?)
* adjustable front/rear suspension for rake or ass dumpage
* Perhaps a front and rear profile for all E/N/D SWBs LWBs and wagons, including:
- large [=-=ESERIES OWNERS CLUB~-~] sticker for front or rear glass
- XR front,
- GT front,
- twinlight,
- ghia/LTD grilles,
- bulge,
- EF-EL XR/sierra vents,
- sequential EF-EL scoop,
- EB/EL GT scoops,
- different front bars (aftermarket, genuine, and hacked-for-intercooler standard EA-ED bar) plus option for cornering lights on EF-EL,
- or... no front bar
- two intercoolers to choose from (big/small - or none) with silver or black colour options
- different rear bars/garnish (garnish = EA garnishes, EB-D GLi-Ghia garnishes, EF-L Gli-Ghia garnishes)
- different exhaust sizes,
- rear dump pipe,
- twin exhaust (next to each other, or on either side of car)
- no exhaust (presume dumped at diff) :P

those are my ideas

I had thought of the Front / Rear profile option.
Adds a lot of time to the development but deffiantely had major benefits.
Space on screen obviously is the issue but deffinately a lot of ideas from that i'll look to include.

I just want a sprint side mould option, and also seperate front and rear lowering, that uses like a slider thingy instead of just low/super/ultra.

Way way way too much time.
involves modeling all bodykits / wheels / body's along with textures.
too much for 1 person! :P

2D front/rear/side should be more than enough (3D would be crazy, maybe someone doing graphics design at uni could do this as a uni project? ;) ;) )

Not really, being 'cartoony' doesn't really lend itself to interiors that well.

Its just Flash.
nothing special.
Theres not a whole lot to it, most of the time is alligning objects and creating graphics.
the code is extremely simple.

Not a lot to add, the only suggestion I have is with the slider for the suspension height, maybe label along the slider when you're sitting at low/superlow/ultralow so if someone wants a standard height look, they can just set the slider at the position they desire.

Also, an option to export the car to a JPG or something?
Maybe a save option too, so you can come back to it.

Sliding colour bar for whitewalls? (Redwalls, etc)

Also with the rims, maybe have an option for different sizes front/rear (ie if someone wants to make a raked car, with 20" rears & 18" fronts)

not quite ;)
creating 3d models = way too much time.
the 2d version is the easier way.

A and B Series, XR Kits (AU 1,2,3) T Series kits, XR50 front bar for the AU, would be great (i can get ideas for my XR8) and Front/Rear/Side views for E-Series (idea's for my EF)

How about being able to change the background? As others have said, black cars don't stand out on black backgrounds. Maybe being able to select scenes like city, beach, park etc??

just to keep you updated.
I've modified it now so colour selection is done via a pallette rather then the sliders.
the height of the car is on a slider so you can adjust how ever you want.
unfortunately doing front/rear lowering seperately caused some major chalenges that i really can't be bothered with so that will likely not happen.
I'll continue to update progress as i go.

Another update.
I've restructured a lot of the code to make updates a lot easier.
Might optimise it further depending on how it goes.
Its almost back at the original point where i started, but a lot nicer to look at.
Addon's arn't functioning yet (buldge, stickers, etc)
I've also added an initial BA Body so i can start building kits for that.

Next i think i'll be looking at sorting out the accessories like buldges, and other exterior accessories that don't fit in to the bodykit area.
