I was just talking to the Mrs about that one, what a tragedy.
Also in this morning news, 2 caught on Burwood Hwy doing 170 in a 80 zone, one was smirking and laughing as he was pulled over.
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/breaki ... 5820427318Just a heads up to play it safe on the streets guys, save the speed for trackdays and the drag strip in a controlled environment.

The uncles and old man were on the right track on the news and if the driver was alive, he would be charged with Murder, A. The car was unregistered B.Had passenger restrictions. Sad thing for all the passengers in the car are injured and dead.

Yep you get that after dealing with to many car accidents due to "mistakes" or "fuckwits" thinking nothing can touch them. I suppose when you turn up to a car accident and see someone in your class and you talk to every day on the bus mangled more than eggs dropped on the ground and then realising they shouldn't of been behind the wheel you tend to have to harden up to accept shit like that.

instead of havin a dig at just steve, yeah fair enough he was wrong in what hes done, but what about his mates who knows he's on passenger restrictions.what about the one hangin out the window, they've all been in the wrong here an its tradgic whats happened.
http://www.vicstreetutes.com/forum/show ... php?t=1978thers a pic in there of the car with the tree on it.
had a couple of mates who went down to the site today at 5 cos they had 5minutes silence for the people who died, was bumper to bumper down plenty road an has been all day an durin the silence some hero drove past an yelled out '**** all you p-platers why dont you take out all the trees.when will you's learn'. Everyone down there lost it,stomped on the cars bonnet/roof so now its a write off. Steves mums been locked in her room all day apparently an matts mums in hospital now after havin a full on break down

This doesn't mean you can get on a forum and brag about how many fatal accidents you've seen and how much of a hard c*** you are coz you can "deal with it". There's a person on here who knew some of the involved. F*** off with your comments about how dumb the driver may have been etc....someones friend lost their life you cockhead.

Someones friend lost their life
Someones son lost their life
Someones brother lost their life
Someones grand son lost their life
Someones lost their best mate, some one else has lost a cousin, an uncle, a nephew.
How about it FROST, if some one took your child mate, would you be the hard cvnt your being now, or would you be willing to do anything to get them back, have a heart for the family and their friends. And FFS have some respect for the dead, because, i'm sure their are people here who'd not show you respect if you were splatterd. I reckon you should go tell the parents, the brothers, the sisters of the deceased who were killed what you think about their child, face to face. I'll bring a plastic bag to pic you up in shall i?

Apparently it was a 'high performance' vehicle? Isn't just a BA XR6 N/A?
Are kids today learning how to drive or how to pass the licence test?

doesnt seem like it anymore, seems like all u need to learn is to brake, turn, drive now load of shit it is, we had a crash in mackay friday night, a supra driven by a P plater spun out of control hit a traffic island doing about 120 and into someones front yard, he walked away witout injuries, so did the passengers, then was bragging about it too all his mates, afterwards,

I actually find it ironic that half of you belted the shit through the guy who did a burnout with his kid in the car, yet are the ones being sympathetic towards a guy who , yes made a mistake , but could have easily avoided killing his friends if he obeyed the rules.

thanks to who ever cleaned the thread up.
yes an accident happened and it was a tragic end and im sure the people who passed away because of this horrific accident will learn from what happened.
my heart goes out to the family and friends at such an extremely hard time for them. may they rest in peace and be remembered for all the good they have done.

I dont reckon they will.
I hate it when shit happens like this. It gives the media another excuse to pick on car enthusiasts. On talk back radio today they were trying to say the penalties for speeding bitd were much harsher so no-one ever exceeded the limit.
Apparently these days kids only get a slap on the wrist. They should go to jail instead....

can't wait to hear what new law they will bring in to fix things.
its not bad enough that we already get fined/confiscated for wrong doings, along with the government putting rules in place stopping people from doing just about anything, internet filter, no smoking anywhere, more drinking laws... when do we get a curfew?

I've only had my licence for approximately 2 years now. I believe the licence test is waaay too easy. My mrs just passed her test today, even she though it was easy. The tester wasn't even paying much attention to her driving

This x100.
Yes it sad for the people who know the victims, and yes we have all done stupid stuff. But this kid had already been busted buy the cops for "hooning", had
6 people in an unregistered car doing 160km/h on a two lane street, overtook a car at speed...
what did he think would happen?
That's the problem.
Idiot
But i do feel sorry for the families and people who know the people involved, tragic waste of life. All too young, its not even one month into a new year either.

My insurance company class mine as a "high performance car" i told em fark off lol it's N/A!
Its coz "XR' Means "Sports" model. i lol'd when they told me that.
Same goes with Spack comodores, Toyotas, Mitsubishi, etc etc.
Heard on the wireless that they have already rejected harsher P' plate laws.
Best idea yet would be mandatory Driver Education course's.
