ahh that old chestnut, that's because i used copyrighted music, the video stays up but they can advertise whatever the hell they want

Is there anywhere you can get legal music to ad to the vids? My dad did a great one but youtube won't let me post it

i didn't think it stopped you from putting the video up?? it never stopped me, it just got tagged as having copyrighted music in it and meant they could put those crappy ads in it

There is some good music from the available options when you post the video... but it goes right over the top of the video and you loose all the other sound from the video.

I thought it was only when you signed up to adsense to earn $ for views you had to own all the rights to everything in your vid?
