Car Alarm

Postby eb pete » February 21st, 2010, 4:36 pm

Hey,

I'm wanting to put an alarm/immobiliser in my car. Not sure on whats the best, all I have found out is that to be covered for insurance it needs black wiring and 2 point immobilise. The mongoose m80 looks pretty good and is only $400 plus you can add GPS tracking. Bit of over kill for a boxcar but I'd rather have piece of mind seeing all the time and money I've spent on it.

Any info would be good on other products or what you have found to be good.

Thanks
Pete

Get some black wire and tie a cricket bat to 1 end and a baseball bat to the other.

Black wired 2 points of security.
