can i drive an unreg car to the rwc centre ? what do i need

i have replaced the ute with a ef wagon on gas.. i need to get it to my mates garage for a roadworthy tomorrow as i need to have it registered asap as i need it for tuesday ... it wont fail on anything ;-) so, how do i go about it ? i think i done it a year ago and consists of getting ctp first ? then a permit or something ? cant remember... anyone help out with info ?? thanks !

its ok , got it chaps ! ctp with rego papers ready , then go to rwc, then go to qld transport to reg ! all sorted !

oh your in qld...
in vic we can get an unreg permit for upto 30 days at one time, you need to have a good A-B reason for driving - ie. getting roady or going to vic roads, but its good shit.
just call up over the phone and they can fax it out lol

yeah same here but you can take it to a rwc centre direct .. bit of a contradiction as you cant then drive it if it fails ? well sure it hasnt changed from roadworthy to unroadworthy between driving in to driving out of rwc centre ? :scratch: FAIL ! :lol:

anyway, all done and rwc'd !
