It is true, I have spoken to Jon Davison about it. and currently is it cancelled.

However perhaps not all hope is lost. there may be some discussions still happening.

I have been working day and night getting the car back together and running and sorted to go to this, really dissapointing. We need power cruise or something like that to come down here. Hopefully they can come to an agreement and maybe go ahead?

yeah but powercruise is pretty much like easternats, and your just gona get the same old shit like this now, it would be good though

Got a text about this tonight, and there is some protest thingo planned for the highway Friday night at the Bp...

Not that its going to do a whole lot but add fuel to the fire!

it maybe just me but when i saw the msg it says princess hwy bp . Isnt there a few bps on princess hwy

Send the letter to the Voc Police.

Tell them that as these events are not supported by the authorities, the fun has to be taken to the roads.

Why don't the TAC and Vic Police get behind this? Shit they make enough money on fines, etc. Put it to good use.

And i dont think that he had licences to cover what the easternats wanted .

The email was from performance car mania .
Hopefully it goes ahead .

I also got the email about Winton as I am a friend of the Ronke family that run Winton. Here is what it says.

Are you frustrated and annoyed that all our events keep getting the arse. Now that Calder park isnt hosting the easternats where do you go. Well wrap your rubber around this. A one day event of burnouts drags crusing and drifting at Winton Raceway. Details are to be confirmed so stay close and wait for the update. If your interested leave a message and it will be passed onto the organiser.

If everyone joins the facebook group "Winton Performance Car Mania" and shows support for this event it will be a cracker of a day so lets all get behind it.

Its a shame people don't travel to Winton, it seems to be able to hold these kinds of events without fuss.

That's an expensive tow truck home.

Its an easy 2 hour drive though. Once you get on the hume its cruise all the way. Maybe if it was a club cruise all together more people would show interest ?????????? Just a thought

Performance car mania is one of the most fun events ive attended .
I think that if they run more events they will get more people for sure .
Id be up for going to the event .

Id be happy to cruise to Winton, and the suggestion of a club/clubs all cruisen up together is a good idea as well!

i got a msg today saying there is going to be a protest on princess highway this friday night, it was a generic msg saying to pass it on.

Mint I'll be on the Highway on Friday

I know a few ppl planning out head out on Friday night, i think there will be a few different things going on down there with some ppl cruise to Port Melbourne near the Bob Jane headoffice, others will prob just hang around the highway.....

I'm just interested too see how many ppl are actually out, id be guessing it will be the biggest Friday night in a long time if the weather is kind to us!

im also guessing it will be a silly night to be doing silly things lol

Something similar to the Calder Hwy idea of driving slowly needs to be organised, cause it its what i think its going to be like.......it wont help our cause at all, the last thing that the "car club scene" in Melbourne needs is another Noble Park night!

The motorcade is probably the best idea, no speeding or hooning

If your heading out on the Highway, expect a yellow sticker, dont park anywhere where you will be stuck
