look how chrome the tail pipe is, ive never seen such a shiny stock tail pipe
also $43,454 was worth a lot more 18 years ago
EDIT: according to
http://www.rba.gov.au/calculator/annualDecimal.html, this car was worth $70,000 in todays money when new! 50k depreciation in 3500kms. never would have thought that would happen to a ford.

I got $42 560, just incase Sunny is taking the piss

And according to redbook you could get a factory manual EB2 manual V8 ghia...that'd be pretty cool.

If earlier models are going up in price as they are harder to find mint ones, wonder if same will happen to e-series? Seems hard to believe but never know I guess. That would be the only reason worth getting it...

In that case, best bet is to buy it, put into storage then try and sell for $40k in 15 years time.

No other real use for such a car.

That was taken off CarSales vehicle info for EB2 Ghia 5L.
Maybe you selected 4L Gill?

Dunno man, you'd have to go and buy a water damaged car to work that one out. Your mate Bomber is an expert apparently. He can tell a water damaged car from a picture! Amazing!

Really hard to say if e-series Falcons will ever be worth any money, apart from EDXR, FBT and Sprint/Gt.
But they said the same about LC/LJ 2 door Toranas, HK/T/G Monaros, GT's... Look at them now!
If i chose to blow $18k on an e-series, i would buy a ratty ELGT or two average condition Sprints...
