Wheel Witdth ???

Postby Beanie » May 11th, 2010, 5:18 pm

Hi guys

New to this forum and i bloody love it ..

I have a EF XR6 Wagon and just wanted to know what is the widest wheel and tire combo that i can fit on the rear with out any mods ....

I had some EL GT wheels on it before but im looking for a bit of a change..
I have come Across some ROH Modena's But they are 10" wide on the rear.. im thinking this may be a little to much :-(

While im at it.. It would be great to see what wheels you guys would put on a wagon ..

Thanks in advance Beanie

On a sedan 10" wide is doable on the back if you get the offset right, around +20 offset would probably do it. you may need to roll the lip a bit. I have 9.5" wide +18 offset and they fit with heaps of room on my EA, wagons are probably different though.

Well i got 9.5 roh under the wagon very easy with 285/30/18 on them .
It was fine because the wagons have longer studs. I had to space wheel out about 5mm
