was from about the start of the year.

yeh i beat him by .3 on that run if i remember...

that was with my crow cam without a tune. now have headwork (ported, polished, au gasket, shave, blah blah) the 1521a and a tune.

going back to drags in 3 weeks to give her a run.

im not expecting a 13. pretty tough task for an auto.

id be stoked with a 14.5 to tell you the truth.

good luck at the track. watching thread with interest. my best time to date with similar mods (3.9s, 3000 stall, same cam, headwork, tune, lots of added weight) is a 15.01, with stuffed (60lb seat) valve springs and cam timing issues. i ran slower after "fixing" both of those things, but didnt really get a good run (kept hitting limiter). i think you're on the money with a low 14 with these mods in a properly sorted setup.

well you got similar mods to what my fairlane had and i got 14.66, so i rekon low 14s would be achievable..

3 weeks you say.......hmmm, mite join ya. I should hopefully have the motor and box in the new car by then..if all goes according to plan, my motor and box should be in by next weekend
