Gday all....today the wife locked her keys in her EL Fairmont Ghia and its the only one we have. Besides smashing a window (which ive done before) is there any other way to unlock the doors?
If there is can you please PM me as I dont think its too smart posting the details hehe

Bending the rear top of the door frame of the passenger or drivers door away from the door jamb is the way the RACV guys do it. You'll work it out from there ;)

Oh yeah RACQ unlocked my car once, he got this big hook and put it through the little gap between the b pillar and the drivers door and hooked the handle and pulled!

I dont see how I could get a coat hanger down between the b pillar and edge of door.... the top of the door doesnt come too far out from the body. I stuck the coat hanger down between the window and door above the door handle but I cant seem to hook onto anything.

Just a quick question. How did she manage to lock them in there? Wouldnt she need the key or button to lock it in the first place?

bend a coat hanger with a sharp 110 degree angle at the end.
get someone to pull on the door handle to make the gap larger between the b piller and the door or get a large screwdriver and lever it out, with aid of a rag not to scratch the paint.
then move the coathanger around untill you can grab the drievrs door handle and then pull... and hey presto

thats waht ive always done when ive locked kewys out or mates have and they called me. it is sometimes difficult but its do able

just takes practice ;)

Getting the kids out of the back seat, places the keys on the babyseat, pushes the door lock down on the front door so she doesnt have to fumble for keys with a handful of baby and stuff then closes the door forgetting to grab the keys first.......

Actually no... plus the front windows are alot easier to replace...... plus the child locks are on so i doubt they'd open.
