Exhaust /Extractor coating .

Postby BROCKYB8 » June 29th, 2010, 8:53 am

IVe just made a decision that im going to get my exhaust and extractors all re coated.
However the more i read the more im wondering two things.
Who actually does this in SE melb and two what does and doesnt work with cars .

Ive heard of the following but still yet to know peoples experience with them and such.
Hpc-Coating
Powdercoating(im pretty sure this will not stand head of exhaust)
Jet Hot coating

If you had experience with anyone local who does a good job please let me know
Thanks

I've used jet hot coatings out of castlemaine. And wasn't really happy with it.
The finish on the bbm is inconsistant and they fucked my rocker cover. It came back with over a dozen blobs that were the size of 5 cent pieces and about 3mm tall and then tried to tell me that they must of been there before the coating.

I've heard good stuff bout competition coatings in coburg but can't find the number atm.
