G'day,

I've got stumbled upon a EA fairmont ghia in the regional paper, normally i'd give EAs a pass for the upper half of the 100's but this got me interested.

Aparently its a 5 Speed from the factory.

Otherwise its got 300,000kms, had been used to tow boats (body distortion anyone?), 2 months rego and the bloke says its in good condition- from what he told me.

I'm thinking offering him 7-8 hundred and see what happens.

Your thoughts?

jus cause its got rego doesn't really mean you can get a road worthy on it.
but for parts it might be alright.

Which will work out if it's been used for towing boats.

I'm sure it'll be a POS in the end - offer him $400-500 and he'll most likely take it.
