With my xr6t I'm with aami.

$760 a year full comp with windscreen cover and wheels.

<3 insurance.

If you can, insure your car through your parents to make it alot cheaper.

Depends who your with, some insurance companies it doesn't matter on the age of the oldest person, they take do a quote on the youngest driver, thus it won't work..
RACV make it cheaper if its in your parents name..
JustCar has a good Third party..
if you have a second car, called up shannons (won't do a quote online), but you can say you have a daily bomb and that you use your bf sometimes on weekends, and they will drop the rate big time, thats what i've done..
When i was 19 I had a heap of modifications (legal), with my NL fairlane, xr6motor manual exhaust rims dumped etc etc etc and they insured me for $10,000..costing me $1,100 p.a, which is VERY cheap compared to fullcomp with RACV (with parents) and Justcar...
Food for thought..

ABS = spongy brakes, but you'll slow to about 60

non-ABS = lock up at 100 & skid past the roo doing about 95. But you'll look sick doing it

Hybrid34: Shannons won't insure under 25's.

I've had good experiences with CGU & QBE when I was under 25.

Im under 25 (only by a year) but they insured me with the wagon as it is (including V8 conversion) and its for $6k. I pay $700 a year full comp with windscreen and hire car option too.

Just ring them up. Also, putting a female driver on lowers your premium ;)
