Pay me

Pay me my $47.40 for the 7 day permit you made me get before lashing like the dog you are, and your old account can be reinstated.
If not, you'll cop shit forever.
This was over a failed sale on a $1,200 car over 8 months ago. Another forum member contacted me 10 minutes after Sunny and I agreed on the sale,
and decided he wanted too buy it after travelling over 350kms the weekend before too look at it. Afterwards, I msged Sunny and apologised and
said I couldnt sell him the car due too another previous potential buyer had decided too buy it.
He could never produce a receipt for this so called "permit", so I wouldnt pay the $47.40.
The reply's I got afterwards were abusive like the above message, and resulted in the banning of another account on Eseries from Sunny.
The reason was: =)
People's thoughts and opinions??
Regards,
LOW-LTD. (Formally MINT-8)

So... define "afterwards"... was this immediately after you'd sold the car, or some time later?

Sounds like you owe him $47.40 for stuffing him around.
Moderators on here probably dont want to see other forum members get stuffed around in the same way.

I've seen smug comments from you on this forum rubbing it in that you cost him money.

He had a whinge to Gill about his treatment and I sent him that as a peace offering.
Pretty fair IMO, nothing to be ashamed of lol.
You gave me your word that the car was mine and I agreed on time and place and everything, and then you bailed out.
Just pay the money and die in fire. It's just karma buddy.
Bet you wish you just sold me the car now

LOW LTD wrote:He could never produce a receipt for this so called "permit", so I wouldnt pay the $47.40.
I clearly remember you not offering to pay at any stage, not replying, and not in any way putting in a move to sort out the matter. After letting it lie for a long time, I noticed your smugness in a number of posts on this forum - to the point where you bragged about how you ripped me off.
I have the permit, will scan and post tmrw - along with proof of payment.

I gave a guy a deposit on a 2000 model 4wd hilux, and then he turned around and sold it on me to some other bloke, I was fucking pissed off, i got my deposit back, but the fact of the matter is, Once you agree to sell an item to someone you DO NOT go back on it, fair enough the other forum member travelled 350km to look at the vehicle, but you had agreed to sell it to sunny, when you hadn't heard back from the other forum member.
Stiff shit i say and cop what your given.

The pivotal point of your statement was "Another forum member contacted me 10 minutes AFTER Sunny and I AGREED on the sale".
IMO you had committed to a sale, and if the other bloke came along 10 minutes or 10 seconds later is irrelevant, as the car was already sold.
If the other guy was keen enough to travel 350k's, he should have left a deposit on the weekend he saw it. If he has waited a week to decide he wants it, that is his problem.
Forget about the receipt crap. You screwed Sundeep around, so throw him a 50 and put it behind you.
I wouldn't feel right doing that to someone, knowing they are out of pocket because I acted on a silly whim.

if the other dude gave you more money it's okay, but if you only did it because he travelled 350kms thats pretty weak.

Steady wrote:if the other dude gave you more money it's okay.
No its not.
For example. You come across a Mint XW/XY GT all matching numbers etc, and the guy was asking 45k you say i'll buy it, and both partys agree, The seller calls up 2hrs after you leave and says, aww mate i'm sorry i'm gunna sell it to this guy who has had a look at it after you, because he's gunna give me 47k.
You'd be pissed off if this happend to you, It is not ok do do shit like this, have some Morals

He should ask for deletion at FM and once he pays me my dues I'll ditch this thread so quick it'll seem like it never existed

Throw in the towel brother, and up the white flag.
When I upload a copy of the permit and the proof purchase tmrw, you will get ripped in to hard.

i'd offer him 48. but i would have put a deposit on it if i really wanted it, not just said "yeah ill take it" and left it at that.
you are selling a car, guys says over the phone "i'll buy it for 10k cuz, i'll be round tomorrow arvo to pick it up".
then another guy rolls up at your house with 12k in his hand.
you say "im sorry dear friend, but i already have a buyer lined up to procure this motorised vehicle".
next day rolls around, kunt with 10k doesn't show, doesn't call, you never hear from him again.
who's the dumb kunt in that story.
sure, you can cry tears about the guy who's word ain't worth shit, but end of the day you've got an unsold car, and your tears aren't worth 12k.

i sort of agree here... but i wouldnt pay more than what i agreed to.
the way i do it, if theres a deposit its sold, no deposit its on the market till theres cash in my hand.
perfet world we could accept peoples word, but unfortunatly too many people are time wasting ****

if no deposit has been paid then fair enough, but if deposit has been paid, then its just plain fucken rude and said seller needs a swift kick to the nuts.

I had called him, spoken to him, arranged a time, gotten the address, bought the permit and arranged a lift and suitable protective bodywear and weapons to go to Carrum Downs on that day.
Pretty sure I was going to buy it.

No fkn shit.
But wouldn't you just say "nah it's not sold until I get a deposit"? Instead of saying...."yeah it's a done deal"?

And/or give original buyer option of upping their bid before committing to the higher offer.

it's all still words.
if you want it, put a deposit on it, regardless of what the seller says.

It's a $1200 car that was going to get picked up on the same day. It's just more to-ing and fro-ing. I've bought 11 batrigillion cars in the last few years. Prob only put a deposit on 2 or 3.
This includes 2 $25k+ missions on getting cars from interstate.
This was just some shitter from Carrum.

when im buying, cos im a mis-trusting paranoid mofo i wont pay a deposit, but i also realise that i run the risk of it selling to someone else.
