Hey guys, just wondering if there is any difference between a bellhousing off an EF/L to a BA/F.

I got into a discussion today at the swap meet with a guy, and we thought they would be both the same (especially both being pretty much the same 4 Litres)

Cheers ;)

They are pretty much the same, the two bottom bellhousing to engine crossmember bolts don't line up though. That and BA/BF use a hydraulic clutch setup.

As Damo said - AU and BA bellhousings match AU and BA engines perfectly.

The two lowest bolts do not line up if you mix E-series and AU onwards engines/gearboxes, but it doesn't really matter, the top bolts are more than enough to hold it together.
