Petition against changes to Modified Vehicle laws in NSW

Postby mickyyyy » July 12th, 2010, 6:24 pm

The NSW RTA is proposing changes to the current registration system for modified vehicles. These changes will mean that the majority of modified vehicles will be classified as individually constructed and will have to comply with the ADR's current on the day that it goes for registration. Please follow the link below and sign the petition to assist us in taking the fight to the NSW Transport Minister.

http://www.gopetition.com/online/37707.html

People from other states should also sign as this will show a strong message that everyone across Australia dont like crap like this.
Wanted Either Capri/Cortina/XY/XW/XR/XT with tough V8 stroker engine, auto, 9inch, upgraded brakes etc

No doubt in my mind, I don't know the full details of your rules but my understanding is that you guys only need to get one when you sell (or buy) a car? Thats crazy!

Don't get me wrong though, I'd love that :-P beats doing a pink slip every year...
