i got issued with a epa test in the mail the other day wondering, cost and whats the most likely ill be under 90db

most likely to be under 90db would be factory fitted equipment ;)

I'm getting mine tomorrow at 1 so i'll let you know how much. My exhaust was 200 though, gay as aids!

I think its like $35 for first visit and $17 after that. but they told me the fees were going to go up soon.

i got told 150 and 80. I forgot to ask on the phone for a real price so i'll let you know tomorrow

Yeah i changed the exhaust last week. I couldn't be bothered paying and failing cause i new i would.
Get this i only had to rev it to 3,300rpm
There was a vy v6 that had to rev 4,800rpm before me and only got 81 lol. Stupid noisy i6 falcons

i was issued with epa.. tests are $39.00 everywhere. every test u do. they do not change.

Mine was 79 with a fully stock setup. Doubt you'd have an chance as it's literally 3 times quieter than my 2 1/2" exhaust alone.

im guessing ill get a rear resinator to make it quiter, then ill take it off and put the old one on after the test haha

i just cleared mine today, tested 86 with a complete stock exhaust... cost $39.40, was talking to the guy at daaldlers exhaust in boxhill...he said it pretty much wont pass unless its stock as a rock:(

got it done today 1st test was 97db, then i got a resinator put on then it was 89 doesent sound much different really idles not as lumpy though :(

That's lucky as, i got extractors put on mine with the stock exhaust, deleted one small ressie, it's quiet as but has a decent note up top plus the 977B with a 110 lobe separation i just stuck in makes it fairly lumpy so it makes up for it lol
