So I've lost my car keys..

As the title sugests, i've lost the keys and remote to my car!

I only ever had one set, so i'm not entirely sure what to do. Has anyone had simillar dramas? I assume i can't just pull out a door lock and take it to a locksmith?

Get a new ignition barrel and door locks, you will need to reprogram smartlock due to a new barrel, and you can also get a new remote and reporgram it to suit the car.

Another option is, if the locks and ignition is original, ford will have the key codes in their system, you will need to provide your vin number to them and they can give it to you, you the give the key code to a lock smith and they will cut a new set of keys.

Get a full set of locks and barrel from wrecker. Also a new drivers window because you will have to smash it to open it.

I lost the keys to a 94 EF, I have retrained the smartlock so the car starts and runs but the hazards keep coming on when I open the doors or start the car, then after a couple of minutes they go off again. does anyone have any remedy??

i have an ignition lock and key for sale with my key. when i wrecked my EF. I still got it.

$40 and all yours pickup or posted. Ready for pickup any time aspendale/hawthorn.

Reprogramming smartlock is easy.

you need to switch ignition to acc then press ur boot release 3 times to go into learn mode... then press either button on each of the remotes then turn ur ignition off. press remote buttons to check they both work

Thanks for the offer mate, but i found a place in footscray that cuts ford keys. So i pulled out one of my door locks and i'm getting a key made tomorrow.

If you find the right locksmith they can "impression" the ford tibbe (whatever they are called) keys.
put a blank in the barrel rotate it to get an impression and then cut the key.
