I really do wonder how the hell he survived..... It looks impossible to survive a crash of that severity

Driver got lucky in some ways, he hit that pillar sideways and the car seemed to break up instantly and sent him skidding down the road. He didn't come to a total stop from 160km/h which would have been much tougher to survive.

I'd say he will almost certainly have an acquired brain injury and be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Never know tho, some people get lucky.

Not wrong!...Anyone catch 60Minutes last night?.. with the 2 Swedish twins that ran onto the m6 Freeway in England and BOTH of them got hit. 1 got hit and dragged under the wheels of a semi-trailer, and the other twin got munched by a VW Golf doing about 90. Both of them survived, but what was even more amazing is the 2nd twin that got hit by the VW, stood up 5 minutes later like something out of Terminator and runs off, punches a cop in the face and fends of 8 or so other police who try to wrestle with her!
