Time for a "classic" style poll.

I am thinking about cosmetic upgrades for SLOGLi. I am thinking a Fairmont front would be nice, but maybe also an EF XR front. Or possibly a tickford kit with the standard GLi bar.
This is how it currently looks:


So, what does everyone else think?

Oh, and if anybody that is good with photoshop felt like chopping a Fairmont front on, I'd appreciate it. I think everyone knows what a red XR looks like.

I think you should go something like a fbt front. That would look sweet.

EF XR is my favourite.

EF XR for EF and EL XR for EL's.

I like the EF fronts because they're plainer and look like they mean business compared to the over-fancified EL fronts (which remind me of ED's).

keep the GLI front and get a kit.
less issues with paint matching too

Seriously, it looked mint when Sunny had it like that.

I hate hubcaps. Seriously. Like, with a passion. I know it looked good when I bought it, my desktop is a picture of it still with the caps on.
I think though it is more to do with the ride height more than anything else. The current ride height makes it look crap.
When my damn springs finally arrive, things will start to look different - also I will put some EF wheels on, I think that will make a lot of difference.
But no hubcaps.

It looks like the winner so far is for an EL XR front. Yeah, that's not gonna happen. I personally prefer the EF XR front anyways. It'll be a toss up between EF Fairmont and EF XR, and will most likely come down to wether I can get an XR front cheap enough.

The only reason I am thinking about it is because paint matching won't be an issue for some time - I still have almost 2 litres of the paint that was used to respray it - so colour match will be perfect, at least until the red starts to fade.

I can't decide between these two... Both are top options, despite your hateage of hubcaps

EF GLi with EL Ticky kit. EF kit is poxy.
