thats cool man I love it

I'm only asking cause i'm buying an eb next week hopefully :beg: and its a chamapgne colour which i'm not a huge fan of but the car is so straight, oh so straight, and i was wondering what a flat black e series would look like with a nice set of wheels under it :this: :good: .

i dont want it too look like a rat rod with the black centre's and white walls i was jus thinking a nice set of black centred rims and a chrome lip for a nice look :D

if its going matte black I dont reckon the black centred rims and chrome lip will go... kinda like mix and matching
different styles... happy to be proven wrong though mate... I reckon give it go... would be a boring world if everyone
stayed the same the whole time...

Here's a VL done in the 'rod' type style (thats how the owner described it)... Was a feature car, and ran a 10.5 so
cant argue with the performance... I reckon its awesome...

I think the VL i posted 'WAIVE' sold for 25k or there abouts so someone mustve liked it.... though VLT drivers do seem
really into their cars; almost obsessively...

Proper flatt black can look like ass easily, satin black or similar would be much easier to pull off and look alot classier i reckon

satin black with a low/no gloss clear would give the rest finish I reckon... would probably be the hardest wearing too....

yeah thats what i think also, anything less has the risk of turning out looking like you sprayed the car with export spray cans lol
we sprayed a mates bonnet with satin black just from a can and even that turned out really nice considering it was spray cans...
that kind of color would be the way to get the look that BA/BF has.

john, what paint did you use?
