im thinking of selling up the ED once ive done the engine conversion jsut not sure what price to ask?
its a 94 ED Falcon GLI
EL tickford engine with 120000 kms
pacemaker 4499s
hi flow cat and sports exhaust
ba gt front bar
xr6 bootlip spoiler
xr6 lights
good paint condition for its age colour coded bumpers
full sound system
re trimed seats
tinted windows
lowered all round on super lows
just serviced transmisson
SCT flash chip
FTR wheels
RWC and 12months rego
also got a LSD diff center to throw in

i think your gonna be well disappointed... the mods wont add stuff all to the value imo.

with au's and ba's being sooo cheap now there's not a lot of money in e series.

yeah i know im ina huge debate with myself to sell it for sweet f*&k all because the arnt worth nothing or just to keep it as a daily driver.......

only way to get back any kind of money on a modified eseries is to put it back to stock and sell it for maybe 1500?, then sell all your parts

its a fairly minute market for a modded e series like yours. you need to find someone with the same 'taste' as yourself.

cant give them away ! i am struggling to sell a 94 wagon with full dealer history for a grand ! needs head gasket but pretty straight and unmolested otherwise... old cars are worth shit these days.... modding is as good as burning yer money....self satisfactory but nothing else....

with rwc and rego i recon you can get ~4000 with rims.

just strip and sell stock with rwc and rego. or cash in rego and sell with just rwc.

once you put motor in your gonna have to retune it again and thats more wasted $$$ ;(

12 months rego and rwc is worth some coin along with his 20"s. if he wants 2k for it as is, ill take it now *with the el motor and retune of course*

$2000 max for falcon that tidy. I was selling my XR8 a while back as was looking at buying a new car, its had it and needs work over 330.000 km now and ive been offered over $2000 for it

EF XR8 manual for $2000 i would have been all over that you riped yourself or it was totaly fuc###

I think $4000 is about right for one that clean with a roady

i waited and got 4g for my old eb, that had nothing ridiculous to make it stand out even though i spent tones on it over the years

With a standard front bar, some SVO's and a ED Ghia interior that would be a real nice car...

If your willing to wait you could ask for $3500. Do see the poitn in doing an engine convertion in your just getting rid of it though.

wow, going by the replies here, the price of e-series has dropped since my last tyrade on 8k e-series with rims

You'd get $4k or close to it for it, some young guy would buy it for that no worries.
Cant really go off what other people here have said.... 94 wagon with a blown headgasket? no comparison to this car.

Someone on car sales will pay 4k with RWC easy, may a take a couple of months though

i was just asking is all, but for what ive wasted on it i might as well keep spending and keep it for good, just how the xf xe xd are street machines now, im sure ina couple more years itll be the same for a eseries....

up here in kingaroy youd get 6-8k for that easy because the simple reason, nobody likes to travel for the car they just pay more to have it with out traveling far considering, its 2+ hours drive to any major town from here

XE's have taken off in the past few years, i doubt XF's will, XD's are slowly getting there.
I am 110% certain that the only e-series worth money in the future will be:
GT's, SVO's, AIT's, Brocks, Sprints, FBT's, and to a lesser extent genuine ED-EL XR6+8's...

Thats rightt.. Like down there in the cities there might be a shitload of decent e-series cars. But like up here you'd be flat out finding a decent e-series I cud see someone wanting like 7-8k for that car up here in cairns. My mate got offered 10 for his ef xr6 full stock just nice paint.

guess its all about where you live and the demand for a good looking car?

I'm with you there also to some extent.
But think about how few extremly clean/low km e-series there is now day??? Not many at all.. so go forward 20 years, i believe even a low km clean ea gl will be worth decent money as there will be non around. Everyone will scrap them all and flog them out like they have already. That's my view

I see your point, however in 20 years there will be all sorts of current crazy technology and the current FPV's and HSV's will be cheap cheap..
Thats if we're still driving unleaded vehicles at all??
