Heya all,

Well i had an interesting start to the week.. was out at my dads old farm in heathcote in my EA, and well was driving through a slight dipp in road angled enough for rear wheel to extend fully for a sec, well unknown to me, The Moron's that installed the lowered suspension decided the Long factory lite shocks would do in the rear.. so needless to say i got back to my dads after a twisted drive back & jacked up rear of car via body so rear wheel was fully extended, to find that coil spring moves freely when wheel in this position.. lol factory shocks are about 2 inches to long...

so looks like ill be buying some new shocks for rear.. lol and now some spring seats as they were damaged by spring laying on angle...

GRRRRRR!!!!

any recomended Brands For EA FALCON...????

As for what you should get, it depends on your price range. I love Koni but they are pricey, though they are adjustable which I have found usefull.

Pedders are good also, and cheaper than Koni, though they aren't adjustable.

sounds like something pedders in bundy did to my apprentices GT4 celica!! they just didnt put the strut bolts back in the front of his car!!


i am using KYB shocks and struts and they do me fine!!

monroe are another cheaper brand that i didnt have any problems with for 2 years.

If you can't afford Koni's then go for Pedders. They do a model of rear sports shocks that are really fat... manly shocks FTW!

I'm using Boge shocks, no complaints from me

same boges for me as well..... Cheap but effective.....

boge for me as well, sit stiff in the rear but handles choice
