the smart lock system in my 1996 xg ute is playing up. and i cant get the engine to turn over. does anybody know how to reset the system? what should i do?

give the ign barrel a tap see if that helps or get a over ride moduel installed or j3 chip

it cost me 130 for the unit can probbly install it yaself but i took it to an auto elec to get done requires some wires bein cut and solderd

is that 130 for the j3 chip
