well, here is a r33 that turned up to mazfixs' dyno day last week, car is owned by graeme from turbowerx automotive, made 650 on the first 3 runs, then after they restrapped it to stop it smoking the tires it went 881hp. Pretty cool car, gt55r, spool rods, and other goodies, looks stock with the bonnet closed. I think it fits better in there then the falcons. It nearly made bushy's ears bleed on the gate. :good:

That's awesome, there's a r32 with the same conversion and massive setup here in Vic too, I can see this conversion being more and more popular!

well there ya go... that is pretty cool, but still not too sure about other make engines into other cars...
the 4L looks a bit big in that bay. or could just be coz of that massive turbo.

it would want to look larger with 1.4l more capacity lol
the RB26 head is still quite large for quite a small engine, but the 4l is a large farker
its a shame its such a steep power curve, but i guess that doesnt matter when its over 800hp at the wheels lol

How would the car respond with the extra weight in the front? Like on the track would it under-steer massively? I dont know the weight difference but I assume its a fair whack.

its a dyno queen man, he reckons it was pretty well only built to win dyno comps, and i dont really think the weight difference would be all that much different from the 26-30 that was in it.
heres a vid of when it was making around 650hp with wheelspin.

Yep - once I'd measured up the RB20 that was originally in my brothers 32 I was like man.....we gotta put a 4 litre in here! He got a neo25 instead. Softcock.

I think this thing was at the Hi-Torque dyno day at the Gold Coast the other week too. Someone told me there was an R33 with a 4l there anyway.
