Yeah there is a bit of a story with that.

Code: Select all
www.falconxr6turbo.com.au
Site Announcement
Welcome back everyone! Well it’s been a really hectic week for us with the theft of the site but we are back again. You may have received some emails recently stating that the site has moved etc... However, this is not the case.
This is the original http://www.falconxr6turbo.com.au site and not the other imitation site. The imitation site should not have been indexed in any search engines as yet, so the proper site should still appear if you were to type “xr6 turbo” in your search engine, and we will still appear at the top or close to it.

The site was actually stolen by a young child who was brought onboard to assist in the maintenance and the running of it. Why did this all happen you ask? Well I will explain. As you all know there are two sides to every story. We have not yet had a chance to explain what really happened and why it happened so now we have an opportunity to tell the truth.

As of late Troy and his side kick LUMO, who I’m happy to say has finally learnt his ABCs (good work) have been forcefully trying to acquire the domain name from us. Being the owners of the domain name we did not want to sell it! Simple! After several attempts to remove me as an administrator from the site and acquire the name I was finally fed up with it all. I had brought this guy on board to assist me in the maintenance and the running of the site, and there he was trying to take it from under me! Troy was told the DOMAIN NAME WAS NOT FOR SALE and to stop asking because, firstly, you can’t afford it, and secondly, we don’t want to sell it. I also asked him to STOP reading people’s private messages which I have been opposed to from the beginning. He was not happy!

He then went and created his own domain name with a .net.au prefix, and then locked me out of the site, control panel and the ACP, changed all the passwords, and redirected his .net.au domain name to the site! Once that was done a mass email was sent out stating that the site has moved which was completely false!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the sponsors and members who have been behind us during this disruption. Your support is why we have decided to bring the forum back up again. For security reasons, all users will need to re-register again.

Thank you and enjoy your stay here.

I never even heard of either of those sites. Why would there need to be 2 (or 3) sites dedicated to XR6Ts?
