Docklands, St Kilda, Crown Casino, Chapel Street, Brunswick, and Federation Square.

There's also a lot of really nice cafes, restaurants, and shops etc in the heart of the city (QV, GPO and a heap of other random small streets and alleys) if that's your sort of thing. The Motorshow is around that time of year but I'm not sure if it will fall specifically on those dates.

And if you do take their ^^^ advice, you may never want to come back to Melbourne again if you visit Noble Park...

Just look up Melbourne on Wikipedia it'll take you through all of Melbourne's main attractions with descriptions.

Rialto is old news, Eureka is where it's at.

lol at Noble Park! Why would you want to visit the ghetto?!?1?

It depends on what your into really - Art, fashion, clubs, pubs, restaurants, generic tourist stuff etc etc. Then we might be able to guide in you more in the right direction...

If your having a big one after the GP you can wander down Fitzroy St (right next to Albert Park), theres a metric shitload of bars, pubs, clubs, hookers etc down that way to suit all tastes. Then you can hop on a rollercoaster at Luna Park and chunder it all back up :?

lol didn't the aquarium burn down a few year back? (only in melbourne would a structure inundated by the yarra be able to burn down...)

According to that page, an aquarium in Carlton burnt down in 1952.
So yeah, a few years ago.
You remember that Dave? That's pretty amazing...

So your interpretation of a "few years" is about 55?

Definition of few on the Web:

an indefinite but relatively small number; "they bought a case of beer and drank a few"

Let's say 55 years is relatively small compared to your mum :D

car rental places always put restrictions on where u can and cant go. but they cant track where u have been. i doubt a rentabomb place would have GPS trackers in their cars. just take it there.

I think there are such things as "Wicked Vans"(You may have seen them floating around) they are like "Rent a bomb" but you can drop them off at Any hire joint through out australia. so you could hire one and drive it to QLD drop it off and fly back(If you wanted to waste money)...

Might be worth checking out??? Thats if you haven't found a rentabomb... My 2cents anyway
