can you fit 265 tyres fitted to 14x9.25" wide rims under the rear of an EF wagon ? reason is, i would like these drag rims like i had on my EL fitted to my EF wagon ! not everyones taste but i love them and have a plan but must go under cleanly as i load it up !

ps, the ones i am looking are ford centrelines and pre AU offset  ( i get the pre au bit but still unsure if they will go under cleanly !)

Well Phat_EL has 255 rubber underneath his EB Wagon and that things just about as low as u can get, so i dont think 265s would be much of a problem

it will depend on the offset.
if it starts tucking tyre you'll likely have clearance issues.

well, both sets are back up again on ebay, sad that people get messed about on that bloody website ! :banghead:

anyway, i've been spending some time on the old girl recently bodywise, stripped bump strips off and pinstriping etc.... buffed with G3 ferecla and gave it a polish !
fitted new mirrors and indicators as they were stuffed, she is now looking very clean apart from a dent (soft shallow) on drivers wing which is annoying... also got a couple of bits of surface rust to deal with but they're nothing !

still need to spend some money on ac compressor and getting regassed as its hot as helll at the moment and i go into peoples houses moist and uncomfortable ! :D

next is some new bushes as it has a slight lhs clunk when a pothole is hit so i reckon anti roll bar as the steering is spot on.
next will be to get lowered and new wheels and exhaust.... probably about a grand but its too good a car to throw away cheap...

pics to follow soon ! she's looking good but plain !
