hey guy's,
i got the white eb given to me by my parents and never changed the name so iv never gone through registering or somewhat anything to do with vic roads except paying the reg.

iv bought a new eb thats had a engine conversion to a ef motor,
do vic roads have to inspect the vehicle, for the VIN number and engine number on the plates?
if i provide the roadie, ? or do they just take the roadie and paper work, and not have to inspect it ?

the car hasnt been registered since jan 09.

i more or less just dont want to go through a heap of bullshit and end up not being able to get the car registered.

any information would be appreciated cheers

they dont give a crap about you changing to an ef motor if thats your question?

if it hasnt had rego in years. then yes.

you have to get a rwc.
then take the car into vicroads and they check the vin and engine numbers.

When i put the ghia thru vicroads because the engine numbers dont match they needed a stat dec saying i bought the car with that engine etc or if the new engine number is on the contract of sale then you should be fine.
