Engine Number Location?

Postby InfernalTyrant » February 21st, 2011, 2:48 pm

I've just gotten a RWC for my EA, and now I've gotta book it in to get transferred and registered. I need to get the engine number before I can even book it in though. It's got an EL 4.0L. Where would I find the engine number? I've got the VIN number.

if the car passes you get the green slip, but only the bottom of it, the top part which stays with the repairer has the VIN and engine number etc... on it

I work at a Ford dealer and in the years ive been there and the dozens of RWC's ive done we have only had to give the bottom half of the green slip

We need to see the whole thing at VicRoads to re-register a car.
