Hi guys after the exact same number plate cover as this. Its made for 5 characters but covers the holes left by a 6 character plate. Wondering if any one knows where to get them. Ive been to autobarn and repco and they couldn't help me. Also tried ebay and google. Found nothing.

Kingpin is a top licence plate frame maker that I've used for many years. Incidentally, the dealer-fit number plate frames seem to be the same brand except with the manufacturer's logo embossed (was on my VT anyway). Online isn't the only option for purchasing; you will find that the range of their products varies from store to store. The best stocker that I have found is Autobarn in the city on Elizabeth Street, though I'm not sure if they'd have that particular model. If they don't have it, chances are no one else does.

He wanted $262 for those number plate covers. Almost as much as my custom plates....

I don't know if this would work very easily, but try getting ahold of an unwanted, regular 6-digit slimline number plate, puttying the rear indents for the numerals and spraying the back in gloss black (normally silver). Screw the 5-digit number plate onto the 6 digit, then buy a normal $30 Kingpin slimline cover to put over the top of the lot. Might be a similar end result without the expense.
