Gearbox services Rocklea, anyone used them?

i put my ef in there today to get the auto serviced, and fault find the shifting issues it had developed.

got the call this morning, saying there was a lot of wear in the gearbox, and the pan had a lot of clutch material in it.

basically he couldnt give me a quote until they pulled it apart to see the damage. i said 'fark that, service it, change the neutral switch and we will see how long it lasts'

he then went on to say the shifting issues are most probably caused by the switch and to monitor it to see how it went.

pretty much i just wanna know what sort of rep this place has, ie if he says my box is worn out do i take that at face value, or do i take it as a business trying to get a better paying job out of me?

i went there because it close to work, and they always seem busy...
