A guy is enquiring about my xr8, and sounds pretty dead keen to buy it. Getting a deposit etc.
He lives interstate and wants to have my car inspected by VIP Automotive Solutions. Ive never dealt with these guys.
From their site it looks like they're legit, just wondering if anyone from here has dealt with them / would recommend them.

as long as he does not ask you to buy anything, nor hand over the car or hand over any money or pay for anything before you receive the FULL amount of your sale, then its fine.

Alot of scammers say 'pay 1000$ into xxxx account, for administration, courier / investor fees etc' and offer to pay it back when they pay the full amount for the car. DO NOT get stung by that.

DO NOT do any WESTERN UNION or accept any WESTERN UNION funds.

They have an ABN and have been around since 2007.

Most likely legit.

The bloke came around to have a look, was great to talk to, knew his stuff for sure.
Did his 11-page report, ~30 photos, I took him for a drive, etc.

I would recommend these guys to anyone who is thinking of buying a car interstate after dealing with them.

Did the guy end up buying the car? Did you get to read the report?

I had a bit of a look, I'm not meant to get a look at all but the guy was OK. Its basically a checklist - Good / reasonable / average / needs repair etc for different parts of the car.
The pics are of each seat, panel, dash, engine bay, boot, undercarriage and other bits and pieces.
